T6 Ecosystems is coordinating the development of the official video for the European SDGs-EYES project, with the support and collaboration of the Climate Media Factory, which is specialised in environment and science media. Designed for achieving a wide audience with clear and engaging messages, the video aims at showing how the project will enhance Europe’s capacity to monitor the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Crafting the concept: Both for Experts and General Audience
T6 has led the concept development from the beginning, shaping a concept that resonates with both expert audiences and the wider public. Indeed, the video targets professionals such as statistical communities involved in SDG reporting and national institutions collecting relevant data, and familiar with SDGs and Copernicus services, but aims also at making content compelling and accessible to all. The result is a balanced communication, rooted in scientific credibility, and enriched with visual storytelling.
Bringing Project Outcomes Visually Alive
The strategy behind the production of the video is to deliver a professional, focused audiovisual product that highlights the project’s main output: the SDGs-EYES platform. Therefore, the short storyline flows from an introduction about the main goal of the project and its context to deep into the technical description of its outputs, capturing the essence of the tool and helping audiences to grasp the technical aspects and appreciate the project’s innovations.
A proven approach
From a broader perspective, T6 regularly adopts video formats, both general project video and interviews with partners or stakeholders, as a strategic communication action across several EU-funded projects it is involved in.
