Following the European Commission Communication on tackling online disinformation, the SOMA project (Social Observatory for Disinformation and Social Media Analysis) has been launched in 2018 to create an European community to jointly fight disinformation. SOMA activities have been several, among the others an analysis of current regulations and tools to fight disinformation has been provided. T6 translated the results of the analysis in recommendations to inform European policy makers for future policies implementation.
