On 7-8 April, T6 Ecosystem took part in the CASRI Paris Workshop, hosted at the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion in La Défense. The workshop marked a step forward in the development of the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA), by focusing on a selected set of priority topics, and looking at their relevance within the European and national research and innovation landscape and the potential for collaboration.
Within this framework, Katja Firus supported the working sessions by moderating two group discussions held in the afternoon of 7 April. Organised in a world café format, the sessions focused on the refinement of selected CASRI topics and on opportunities for collaboration. In her role, she facilitated the exchange among participants, helping to keep the discussion focused on shared questions, such as where gaps and overlaps exist in current research and innovation activities, how the topics are positioned in the existing landscape, and how collaboration between Environmental Protection Agencies (EPAs) and stakeholders could be strengthened.
In parallel, T6 supported communication activities throughout the workshop. Danilo Capone coordinated the multimedia material production, producing visual content and sharing updates on CASRI communication channels while the sessions were taking place. This helped to capture the ongoing discussions and make them visible beyond the workshop itself. He also carried out a series of video interviews with Advisory Board members, Research and Development programme managers and keynote speakers:; these conversations focused on the added value of the selected topics, their relevance for sustainability challenges, and how they could be further developed.
Through its contribution to facilitating the workshop and implementing communication actions, T6 supported both the exchange among participants and the collection of insights from the workshop. The material gathered in Paris will contribute to the ongoing development of the CASRI SRIA.
