As part of the CircEUlar project, we’ve worked closely with CMCC to create a new online resource, Circular ReBoundary, which has just been launched. Designed for professionals advancing circular economy transitions with a focus on buildings, mobility, and manufacturing, the platform brings together practical guidance, curated knowledge, and real-world insights to support informed and effective action.
T6 Ecosystem’s role
Thanks to our expertise in stakeholder dialogue and knowledge brokering, we played an integral role throughout the development of this tool. Specifically, we:
- Led early-stage ideation, helping to shape the concept, structure, and purpose of the resource;
- Co-developed the user journey and overall navigation, ensuring the platform is intuitive, clear, and engaging for diverse users;
- Refined and reframed content, working closely with CMCC to enhance accessibility, coherence, and practical relevance;
- Conducted additional research to identify high-quality external repositories and reference materials, strengthening the platform’s signposting function;
- Organised and analysed stakeholder testing, gathering feedback from practitioners and using it to adjust design, purpose, and structure;
- Contributed to the platform’s visual and conceptual identity, ensuring consistency across sections and reinforcing its learning-journey format.
Circular ReBoundary’s uniqueness
Circular ReBoundary provides an accessible pathway through key circular economy topics, featuring:
- A curated selection of best practices, alongside links to other major knowledge repositories;
- Insights gathered from practitioners during a dedicated workshop;
- Survey findings from five European countries on behaviours related to mobility, housing, and consumption;
- A dedicated section on rebound effects, explaining how they occur and offering actionable strategies to mitigate them.
The online resource brings together practical tools, behavioural insights, and guidance on managing rebound effects, all in one place, giving professionals a clearer, more comprehensive foundation for implementing circular practices. At its core, Circular ReBoundary empowers professionals to prevent rebound effects and maximize the impact of circular practices.
