We are proud to announce that the T6 Ecosystems team is part of a successfully evaluated proposal under the Area 9: Strengthening our knowledge in support of the European Green Deal.

As reported by the European Commission, out of the 1550 eligible proposals received, 72 research and innovation projects have been selected to be funded by the EC under the European Green Deal Call. “These projects are to contribute to the EU’s response to the climate crisis and help protect Europe’s unique ecosystems and biodiversity”.

The 72 selected projects are expected to provide tangible and visible solutions in the following areas of the European Green Deal:
1. Increasing climate ambition
2. Clean, affordable and secure energy
3. Industry for a clean and circular economy
4. Energy and resource efficient buildings
5. Sustainable and smart mobility
6. Farm to fork
7. Biodiversity and ecosystems
8. Zero-pollution, toxic-free environments

And in two horizontal, complementary areas – strengthening knowledge and empowering citizens, which offer a longer-term perspective in achieving the transformations set out in the European Green Deal.

We are looking very forward to collaborating with an excellent consortium in a very challenging and inspiring project that will support Europe in the ambitious goal to tackle the climate crisis by developing end-user products and services supporting climate adaptation and mitigation.
