With unwavering commitment, T6 Ecosystems is at the forefront of driving research and innovation in Europe.
With sustainability at the core of our business, we are involved in a number of Horizon projects focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe that the monitoring of the SDGs is crucial to promoting a better future for our planet, and we are proud to contribute to a dynamically evolving European research community.
Last week, we attended the second General Assembly of our SDGs-EYES project, which aims to strengthen European capacity to monitor the SDGs based on Copernicus by building a portfolio of decision support tools to monitor these SDG indicators. In this project, we are working on communication, dissemination strategy and exploitation activities to increase the impact of the results and outputs of the project activities.
Therefore, the General Assembly was an important turning point for us and for the consortium overall, as we kick off the activity related to the future of the project and its output that are research related, but not only. Indeed, SDGs-EYES will develop methods, workflows and services that will facilitate the monitoring of SDGs. The project will also create a platform that will enable different stakeholders including researchers, national statistical offices, custodian agencies and decision makers to access the outputs and results, and further exploit the resources made available.
In the next few months T6, with the support of project partners such as CMCC, SISTEMA, EARSC, SATCEN, will run interviews to all project partners to align their sustainability and exploitation plan at consortium level. In parallel, we will carry out an analysis of the landscape of Copernicus-enabled services and already existing platforms to be used as a benchmark for the development of our solutions. Moreover, concerning the communication and dissemination activities, T6 will update the website and some graphic material for the visual representations of information and data to quickly and clearly showcase the project and its pilots, and will organise a video making for presenting SDGs-EYES to a wider audience.
